Happy Patch Day!

We have emerged from our dungeon where the team has been working hard to get the game ready for GenCon! We love the amazing enthusiasm you all have shown for the game and we are excited for what this patch has in store.

Reworked:

The following captains and characters have been reworked. Be sure to check out their awesome new abilities.

• Dungeon Master - Treasures you find from Heroes are one rarity higher.

• Order - Recruit – Your next Shop contains all Fae.

• Stinky - After I’m attacked, deal that much damage to a random enemy.

• Pied Piper - Your other animals have +Attack equal to mine.

• CHUCK-E - Your Toys are Villains. After 10 of your Villains are KO’d, get a bonus shop of all Toys.

• Belle - Your next shop contains all Heroes

• Wormtongue - Your next shop contains all Villains

• Karma Chameleon is now All Types

• Hungry Hyena and Baby Bear have been moved to Uncommon

We’ve made a ton of name changes this patch as we work to match the amazing art we’ve been getting with card effects (and other various design reasons for changing card names). Be sure to check to see if your favorite card is now under a new name!

Rules Changes:

• Allow for clones to occur when resummoning but restrict resummons to 5 times per character

• Enforce 12-card decks during deck building

Bugs:

• Thing in the Ice will now work correctly with Co-Captain Corsair

• Wizard of Oz now shows its buff in shop

• Trifork will now trigger on a 2-pick treasure e.g. Dorothy

• Lucky Chest and Luckier Chest won't be wasted on an already Secret Rare shop, i.e. if you have multiples and find a Legendary treasure

I wanted to take a moment to let you all know what is in the immediate future for Once Upon a Galaxy. As I alluded to in the introduction, we are going to be at GenCon August 1-4! If you plan to be in attendance, come find us in the Event Hall and say hello! With GenCon, we will be moving to Open Beta. So expect our Galaxy to become quickly filled with new faces!
